About the Role

Evaluate, create treatment plans; treat speech, language, and voice disorders. Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal care. Must have effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities. May assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides. This position is flexible and provides the SLP with the opportunity to focus on one or both of the following: SLPA supervision and direct therapy.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.

• Current CCC-SLP certification

• Current California SLP license, or the license will be current by the time of employment start date

• Will accept CFYs

• Standard competency with computer technology.

Must be able to:

• Work with children (birth-18 yrs. of age) with various diagnoses, including but not limited to various developmental delays/disorders, ASD, apraxia of speech, articulation delay/disorder, receptive language delay/disorder, expressive language delay/disorder, phonological delay/disorder, and fluency disorders.

• Guide SLPA's in proper SLP direct therapy, documentation, and other good practices in the speech therapy clinic setting.
